Eugene is passionate about working with clients in their journey towards healing, connection, personal growth, and improved mental and behavioral well-being.

If you are experiencing emotional and relational difficulties, betrayal trauma, religious trauma, anxiety, depression, or struggling to process traumatic experiences or challenging relationships, then Eugene can creates a safe, non-judgmental, and therapeutic space where you can navigate through your challenges with support and guidance.

Specializing in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Prepare/Enrich certified, Eugene brings an empirically validated approach that fosters a secure environment for couples to heal and grow in their relationship.

Eugene is EMDR-trained (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is an evidenced-based treatment for trauma and PTSD. Being a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT)– Candidate, Eugene works with people struggling with their partner’s infidelity.

Before becoming a licensed therapist, Eugene was a full-time minister and is currently supporting people who have experienced religious trauma, spiritual abuse, or church hurts from dysfunctional, abusive, or highly controlling leaders, churches and religion.

With a rich background in education, advocacy, and pastoral work spanning over thirty years, Eugene has positively impacted the lives of countless families, couples, and individuals. Committed to continuous growth, he pursued advanced education and training, culminating in becoming a licensed professional clinical counselor.

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Soul Restoration Project in California, Eugene holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University, Irvine. His educational journey includes a Master of Divinity from Fuller Seminary and a Bachelor’s of Science in Information and Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine. Eugene also is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the states of New York and Florida.

Being bicultural and fluent in conversational Korean, Eugene recognizes and respects the unique struggles, journeys, and stories of each individual. If you are in distress and seeking support, Eugene welcomes the opportunity to accompany you on your journey towards healing, hope, and restoration.
