About:
Kristen is passionate about helping clients to become their truest selves. She strives to create a safe space for clients where no problem is too big or too small. She cares about helping clients to heal from wounds, to find solid footing in their own truth and to have healthy relationships with others. She believes that while the healing process is multi-faceted and unique for each person, the process usually includes developing greater self-awareness, becoming in touch with our own story and being vulnerable in the presence of a safe person. Kristen sees the client as the expert in their own life and sees herself as a partner in the journey of helping clients to live more fully. Kristen also believes in the importance of considering how systemic issues may be involved in personal struggle.
Alongside counseling, Kristen enjoys writing and producing music. This has given her an appreciation for how healing comes not only from working through difficulty, but by doing things we love. She hopes to help clients to discover their strengths in the counseling process.
Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master of Arts in Counseling.
