About:

Susan believes that the journey to healing starts with being fully known and fully loved for who you are. Her passion is to provide a non-judgmental space for clients to explore their experiences and relationships, and help them get to the root of their concerns in order to understand their pain. She believes in working collaboratively to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and make connections to what has shaped them in the past, who they are today, and who they strive to be.

As a ministry leader, Susan understands how important it is to have a safe space to process the emotional, spiritual, and relational difficulties of church. She supports clients who desire to talk about both their mental health and spiritual experiences and how the two may connect with one another. She is also a 1.5 generation formerly undocumented Asian-American who understands the unique challenges immigrants may face and the tensions of navigating difficult relationships with loved ones.

About:
Susan integrates attachment, psychodynamic and experiential based modalities. Susan is certified in Prepare-Enrich and Gottman Level 1 for pre-marital and married couples who are seeking to build a good foundation, work through difficult life transitions, or feeling stuck in their relationship.

Outside of therapy, Susan enjoys indoor cycling, cooking and hanging out with her pups!

Susan holds a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Biola University, B.A. in International Studies from University of California, Irvine, and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT). Susan is a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee and practices under the license and supervision of Catherine Morrill, M.Div., LMFT (#49091).
