About:

Christie works with adults, adolescents and couples seeking healing and growth. She creates a safe and warm environment where concerns can be heard, held, understood and made new.

Her areas of focus include dynamic parenting, teen complexities, anxiety, depression, couple connection, and addressing the feeling of “stuck.”

Christie desires to understand each client’s pain and helps bring transformation to their thoughts, feelings and relational patterns. Christie utilizes Internal Family Systems to help each person understand and transform their internal world. She is certified in Prepare-Enrich, a helpful tool for couples to help identify strengths and facilitate growth.

Christie holds space for the intersection of Christianity and psychology with tenderness. For clients who desire spiritual integration in their therapy journey, she support them in this process. She also helps clients work through harmful spiritual experiences.

Christie has held pastoral roles on church staffs, in missions and in campus ministry. She understands how important it is to have a safe place to explore the stresses and difficulties of ministry/church.

Christie has a Bachelor of Science from CSULB, a Masters of Business Administration from Vanguard University and a Masters of Art in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University. She is a member of the International Marriage and Family Therapy Honors Society, Delta Kappa and a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).

Christie is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She practices under the license and supervision of Catherine Morrill, M.Div., LMFT (#49091)

Through her life experience and educational pursuit, she looks forward to joining with you in your growth of self, relationships and spirituality!

“I view the work I do with you as the art created by the Japanese, called Kintsugi. A jar or vessel found with a flaw is deeply valued and with the use of liquified gold, filled and made new; a deep embracing of the imperfections to create something strong and dynamically beautiful.”
