About:

Christina is passionate about helping those who desire to grow, heal, and be free from past painful events. Everyone has unique life experiences, trauma, and questions, which can lead to deep struggles and concerns in relationships, marriage, and raising children. She desires to help individuals resolve these issues and improve their relationships. She wants individuals to discover the best of themselves so they can fully engage in life, which brings depth and meaning.

Christina’s holistic approach integrates attachment and trauma-based modalities alongside cognitive behavioral and somatic therapy. She believes this offers immediate relief and hope while facilitating deep inner healing. Christina is also a trained spiritual director and has worked with pastors and ministry leaders.

Christina’s professional qualifications are diverse. She is certified in Prepare and Enrich, a tool widely used in premarital counseling and marriage therapy. Her training also includes the methods of The Gottman Institute (for marriage), renowned for its research conducted in the Couple’s Lab. Christina’s certifications include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Treatment of Sexual Disorders, Suicide Crisis Intervention, and Art Therapy.

Christina is working towards her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Biola University. She holds an M.A. in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care and an M.A. in Theology from the Talbot School of Theology at Biola. She received her B.S. from the University of Southern California. Christina is a Marriage and Therapy Trainee and practices under the license and supervision of Marcia Pecora, LMFT.

Outside of counseling, Christina enjoys art, yoga, and her family.
